Mr. Mincy began his career in 1977 as a pharmacist
with Hook's Drugs in Indianapolis, Indiana. In 1982, while
working with AARP Regional Pharmacy in Indianapolis, he developed
packaging and worked on a new packaging system for prescription
drugs. In 1983, he began working for Central Pharmaceuticals
as a Product Development and Production Manager, and later worked at
Schwarz Pharma USA when Schwarz purchased the Central Pharmaceuticals
facility.
During a nine year span at Central, Mr. Mincy increased production in the capsule area from 53 million doses per year to 510 million doses per year. Mr. Mincy also installed a spray drying system for Polysaccharide Iron Complex (PIC) in 1991 that is still in operation at JLM Pharmatech today. In addition, he was instrumental in formulating a novel extended release system for bead or pelletized products using a molten wax system and helped transfer 28 products from Schwarz Pharma's Milwaukee and Germany production facilities to the Seymour location. In April 1999, Mr. Mincy joined Opti-Med CR Labs on a full time basis as President and Product Development Manager. Opti-Med CR Labs became JLM Pharmatech in early 2005 and moved to the newly renovated facility on Killion Avenue in Seymour. Back to Corporate FAQ |
