HISTORY OF JLM PHARMATECH Originally established in 1996 as Opti-Med CR Labs, a form/fill/seal blister packaging operation, the customer base of JLM Pharmatech has grown rapidly as a result of FDA rulings on Iron-Containing products and the requirements for child-resistant unit-dose blister packaging of these products. JLM Pharmatech is an FDA-approved facility and recently completed a major renovation and construction project upon moving to our new building in the spring of 2005. Our capabilities include contract product development of oral solids, contract tablet and capsule manufacturing, bottling, pouching and blister packaging. We are able to provide our ever-growing contract customer base with a complete turnkey operation at reasonable prices. Our knowledge and experience in product formulations, manufacturing, stability programs, process validations, cleaning validations, contamination control, and dosage form design provides our customers with state-of the-art capabilities. PERSONNEL President and Principal Owner - Jerome Mincy, P.D., has more than 30 years of experience in production, formulation, analysis of pharmaceutical products, product research and product packaging. He has also taught graduate pharmaceutics and stability courses at Butler University College of Pharmacy and undergraduate courses in pharmaceutics at Purdue University. more> National Sales Manager - Jerry Wolfe has over 32 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales and sales management. Jerry joined JLM Pharmatech as National Sales Manager in 1998. more> External Auditor - Melvin Chastain, C.P.A., has more than 30 years of experience in healthcare financial management, with the last 12 years being directly involved in the pharmaceutical industry. more> Customer Service Manager - Lisa Mincy has more than 20 years of experience in customer service, including banking and pharmaceuticals. She also has seven years of experience in pharmaceutical labelling as a charter employee of JLM Pharmatech. Quality Control Manager - Nancy Pollert has more than 20 years of experience in pharmaceutical Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs. Production and Packaging Manager - Baron Bullard has a BS degree from Evansville University and five years of experience in the manufacturing and packaging Maintenance and Calibration Manager - Kevin Davis has 22 years of experience in maintenance and repair of tablet, capsule, coating, and packaging equipment. He also has several years' experience in the maintenance of USP purified water systems. Production and Maintenance Staff - JLM Pharmatech has a current staff of more than 40 production and three maintenance employees, with experience in the pharmaceutical industry ranging from three to more than 30 years. FACILITIES Warehouse - 16,250 sq. ft. of GMP warehouse area. Packaging - 9,000 sq. ft. of GMP packaging area. Manufacturing - 6,000 sq. ft. of GMP manufacturing area. Laboratory / Office - 2,750 sq. ft. in the lab and office area. Equipment and Capabilities - Product Development, Tableting, Encapsulation, Pouching (tablets, capsules, and powders), Dry Product Bottling, Tablet Coating, and Blister Packaging.
